One of our favourite spots for a healthy bite to eat after a hard morning shopping is Raw Energy Springfield.
Located just behind the lagoon, opposite Orion Springfield Central, it is perched up on the hill near the GE Building.
It boasts beautiful views over the lagoon and lush green lawns, a perfect relaxed setting for a family breakfast. The staff are always welcoming and they are super dooper kid friendly! There’s a fruit basket for the kids, colouring in sheets, a blackboard and chalk outside, games for the tables and heaps more. We dined with a toddler on this occasion and she was served her pancakes on the cutest Thomas the Tank Engine plate. She was wrapped (and so was Mum who didn’t have to panic about said toddler breaking a real plate!).
There is so much to choose from on the menu and this time we couldn’t go past the Zucchini and Corn Fritters. They were delicious with a hint of spice and a perfectly runny poached egg. The best thing was we didn’t leave feeling heavy and sluggish so you know it was a good healthy option. Everything was really fresh too – from the fruit on the pancakes to the spinach leaves with the fritters, it was perfect.

We were served by the lovely Kirsty who co-owns the business with her family, pictured here with mother in law Thea. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Their health juices are simply amazing, it’s all fresh and you can taste it! I had the poached eggs with mushrooms, truly the best poached eggs I have ever had; they were just perfect. Mushrooms nicely done and the spinach leaves fresh and crispy. Will go there again soon!
