Want to train all week long and not spend a cent on gym membership? We have got you covered. Here are our top tips on how to get a FREE workout in every day!

Yes it is possible to exercise all week for free! All you need is the time.


So much variety available on Monday’s including aqua aerobics, circuit and yoga.


Free Aqua Class at Goodna Aquatic Centre – 9.15am
Free circuit class at Anzac Park Rosewood – 6pm
Free yoga class at Queens Park Croquet Hall – 6pm


Get rid of that unwanted stress and have some great cardio fun with a morning boxercise class.

HIIT classes are touted as being amazing for fat burn. This new form of cardio focuses on high intensity movements to get your heart pumping without having to run 5km!

Free HIIT class at Alfred Seymour Park – 5:30pm


Thursdays are for Zumba and Bootcamp fun in the park.

Finish the week off with a brilliant cardio burn and stress reliever with boxercise in the beautiful Robelle Domain.

Start the weekend right with so many options for all fitness levels including relaxing yoga classes, group runs through beautiful parklands, fitness classes in the park and a brilliant cardio burn with one of Ipswich’s newest gyms!

Take part in a free yoga class at Spring Lake Park – 7.30am.

Head along to your local ParkRun and get some cardio in. Courses are 5km in length and can be found at White Rock or Limestone Park in Ipswich.

Confitent Health and Fitness run a FREE TNT Zero class Saturdays in Sutton Park at 9:30am.

Very soon you will be able to do a free HIIT class with World Gym Ipswich in Limestone Park. Keep watch on their Facebook page for details.


Check out Empire Health and Sports Nutrition’s and Commando VF’s FREE bootcamp classes in Limestone Park at 7:30am each week.


Happy to spend a little bit? The Ipswich Hospital Foundation has a fantastic range of low cost activities each week that cost around $5 each and if you’re in the Ripley area look out for the Fit Initiative that offers classes for only $3!

Why not check out the fantastic free outdoor gym facility in Sutton Park, go for a run up the nearest hill or even grab a free trial pass from your local gym, there are so many options!
